Vist the Research Teams Education page to view the required compenticies and recommended training.
How do I post or remove my trial to ClinicalTrials.gov?
ClinicalTrials.gov is a national registry that offers up-to-date information for locating federally and privately supported clinical trials for a wide range of diseases and conditions. Access can be established for you to post and manage your trials on the site by VCU OSP. They verify that all studies are posted as part of the contract execution process.
What are the criteria to post my trials to ClinicalTrials.gov?
It is the sponsor's responsibility to post clinical trials on the site. You would only need to post trials that are investigator initiated.
How do I post or remove my trial to www.ClinicalTrials.vcu.edu?
VCU also has a registry of the active clinical trials located at www.ClinicalTrials.vcu.edu. The purpose of this site is to:
- create and maintain a accurate and comprehensive database to collect all active faculty‐led clinical trials.
- raise awareness of clinical trials centrally and systematically
- allow members of the community to search active clinical trials on one site
- allow sponsors to evaluate the suitability of choosing Virginia Commonwealth University as a study site
- support the CTSA
To request your study be posted or removed, please send Elizabeth Micalizzi, Manager of Communications and Integrated Technology, CTO a message with ClinicalTrials.vcu.edu Update in the subject line, containing: the PI, sponsor supplied protocol number, the VCU IRB Number and contact information. Learn more about the www.ClinicalTrials.vcu.edu here.
